One of a kind Elena vest in Vintage floral barkcloth. Our Zero Waste Elena vests are designed as a cozy layer to wear throughout the year. Check out our process below for all the details on the sustainable production of this piece.
Each vest begins with selecting a base layer that is typically deadstock, vintage or from sustainable materials (natural fibres, upcycled, recycled materials, etc). We then dig through our smaller cut offs from production and create a unique combination of textures and colors that result in very limited quantities of each design. The inner layer of the garment will vary for each vest, from a light lining to an upcycled quilted cotton blanket or a traditional puffer lining (sometimes pieced together from cut off ends). Snaps finish off the front closure and large patch pockets are always a must.
